Acne tips; pimples, lumps and blackheads

I am Jacqueline Rosenberg and work as an acne specialist in skin practice in Amsterdam, Blaricum & Utrecht. Don't sit on your face

Wash your hands

Wash your hands more often (you sometimes unconsciously touch them anyway)

Showering...NO!

Don't stand with your face under the hot shower (your skin will produce even more sebum)

Soap Oh NO!

Don't use ordinary soap (your skin is acidic and this is also needed to keep bacteria at bay, so use an acidic soak, with lukewarm or cold water, such as Face Wash N3 by Rosenberg Skin Clinic)

Peeling YES! This is the advice of every dermatologist;

Exfoliating helps...uh what? Remove the dead skin cells. Those often cause the blockage. That go very easily with a skin gel that you don't rinse off like Rosenberg Skin Clinic's N4 Glycolic Acid

This will really make you sour....

A cream may not seem like a good idea to you but if it is acidic, doesn't seal and also contains zinc, you will see that the redness decreases quickly. The product is called N9 ACNE and also from Rosenberg Skin Clinic. This cream exfoliates a little less strongly than the N4 but if you also sometimes have slightly dry skin or combination skin then N9 is perfect for you.

If you want to go really professional then you also go for the power mask. You put this pack on your face and leave it on for half an hour. It hardens and you feel the dirt being pulled out of your pores. Do you have those black spots on your nose? Fat chance they are completely gone after just 1 application.
